Home Delivery Service
The Glenwood-Lynwood Library Home Delivery Service is free to those who live in Glenwood or Lynwood and are not physically able to visit the library.

Qualifications
- Must be a resident of Glenwood or Lynwood.
- Resident has a valid library card in good standing. If you do not have a library card, one can be issued to you after providing proper documentation of residency.
- Resident does not have personal transportation to GLPLD.
Types of Materials Delivered
Materials in all formats are available including books with regular and large print, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, magazines, video games or items from our Library of Things.
- Assistance with library material questions can be obtained through the reference desk via phone.
- Home delivery patrons, or Library staff, select materials based on the reading and viewing preferences indicated by the individual’s discussions with Library staff.
Conditions for Home Delivery
- Library staff deliver to Glenwood and Lynwood residents who are living at home, in an assisted living facility, retirement community, or supervised living facility.
- Home delivery services will cease if the Adult Services staff feels harassed or anxious about their safety. If home delivery services cease, the patron will be notified.
- Library materials in all formats are checked out for 3 weeks.
- Home delivery occurs every three (3) weeks, depending on the Library staff’s availability.
- Library items will be delivered to an agreed upon location that has been determined by both the patron and Library staff.
- Library materials are checked out to the patron’s card with the understanding that the patron is fully responsible for materials in their possession. Library staff are not authorized to provide any other errands or services to home delivery patrons.
- Home delivery patrons will not accrue late fines but will be responsible for lost or damaged materials.
- GLPLD reserves the right to reassess any applicant for eligibility as well as the right to cancel home delivery services at any time.
