The Bookmobile has a large collection covering a variety of subjects including:popular fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, audio books, periodicals, graphic novels, video games and DVDs
The Bookmobile visits schools on a three-week rotation. The Bookmobile also delivers materials requested from the collections from the library. Patrons may return their borrowed materials from any of the participating Swan Libraries to the Bookmobile.
In addition, the Bookmobile has community stops conveniently located throughout Glenwood and Lynwood to serve patrons of all ages. The Bookmobile carries an extensive collection of large print books for adults, high interest fiction and nonfiction for teens and a wide variety of popular materials for children.
The Bookmobile and its staff is available for special events such as, but not limited to:
- citywide festivals
- school celebrations and events
- block parties

Delivery of library materials is provided free of charge for residents of Glenwood and Lynwood who:
- live alone and have no one to bring them to the library, or to pick up and return materials for them
- are unable to use Bloom Township Senior Wheels or Pace paratransit bus
- are temporarily or permanently confined to their home due to a physical disability or extended illness.

Public Wi-Fi Internet Access:
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library. Print using Wi-Fi – a link for Wi-Fi can be found at the bottom of the Library’s homepage.
You will need a valid (no fines over $5) Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library card or you can buy a guest pass from the Circulation Desk for a $1.
The 15 minute computer (located on the first across from the Circulation Desk), does not require a card and may be used by all Library visitors. Visitors will be logged on the 15 minute computer by a library staff person, and is first come first serve.
Ear buds and flash drives are for sale at the Circulation Desk.
Please, no food or drink near any technology equipment.
Save your files often! Your documents CAN’T be retrieved after you’ve been logged off.
Public computer sessions are 60 minutes and can be extended in 15 minute increments if no one is waiting.
All computer sessions end 15 minutes before the library closes.
Our computer classes are open to anyone that wants to improve your core skills or explore special subjects.
Copying, Printing and Scanning:
The library has two scanners. Documents can be scanned to USB, email, Google Docs, or to a library printer. The scanner (across from the Reference Desk) also serves as the Fax machine. Faxes are $1 per page. The machine does except cash or credit cards (A $5 hold is put on all major credit cards until payment is processed). Faxes are received at the library for a $1 per page. Our Fax number is 708-758-0106.
The printer is located in the Computer Lab and Copier is located across from the Circulation Desk.
Printouts: Available in black & white or color; in letter or legal size. Black and White pages are .10 each and color pages are .25 each.
Copies: Available in black & white or color; in letter or legal. Black and White copies are .15 each and color copies are .30
Looking for a book, article, movie, or music? Don’t see it in the catalog? Try Interlibrary Loan (ILL)! Interlibrary Loan is a service provided by the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library. If you have a valid GLPLD card, in good standing, you can request items from lending libraries across the state.
