Status: We are accepting only childrens books at this time.
The library accepts donations of ONLY these materials:
- Books
- Blu-rays/DVDs/VHS tapes
- CDs
Donations should be clean, don’t smell, and in good condition.
We DO NOT accept donations of:
- Old newspapers
- Magazines
- Encyclopedias
- Audiocassettes
- Records
When we do accept donations, we can ONLY accept one (1) medium box of donations as the storage space for donations is limited.
All donations immediately become the property of the library and they can’t be returned. Some donations will be added to the collection. The same criteria for inclusion in the library’s collection apply to gifts as to purchased materials. The rest will be sold or discarded if the books are out-of-date, moldy or smell.
The library accepts donations from MWF: 9:30 to 3:30 PM; T&Th: 12:30 to 6:30 PM, and Sa: 9:30 to 12:30 PM. Please DO NOT put donations in the Drive-Up Drop.
If you need a receipt for tax purposes, the library will provide one. However, the library can’t assign a dollar value to your donation.
