Black History Month: A Celebration of Black Lives [RETURN]

In the spirit of the book “Lift Every Voice: A Celebration of Black Lives” we are challenging students ages 6-11 and 12-16 to research and create a brief summary of a prominent African American figure for display in the Library during Black History Month.
Pick up a copy of the template in January and return it in February for display in the library. Patrons will select a fan favorite and the winner will receive a Kindle Fire tablet. Bonus points for reports on unsung historical figures!
Please return your works on February 4th.
